What is the difference between counselling and coaching?I believe in the power of both coaching and counselling—and that they can complement each other beautifully. The right approach depends on where you are in your life and what you feel ready for. Counselling is often about understanding yourself more deeply. We might explore where you've come from, how past experiences have shaped who you are today, and how those experiences could be affecting you now. It can support you in processing emotions, finding meaning, and healing. Coaching, on the other hand, is more future-focused. It's about the goals you want to achieve and the steps that will take you from where you are now to where you want to be. Coaching can help uncover limiting beliefs, shift unhelpful thinking patterns, and focus on practical action and habit-building. Both environments are 100% focused on supporting you to create positive change. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or struggling emotionally, counselling may be the best starting point. If you're feeling ready to focus on personal goals, confidence, or building new behaviours, coaching may suit you. If you’re not sure what you need, we can explore that together in a free Deep Dive session—a relaxed one-to-one where we begin to unpick what’s holding you back and what kind of support will best help you move forward.

What is included in the Breathe & Grow programme?Breathe & Grow is a 12-week coaching and counselling journey designed to help you reconnect with yourself, gain clarity, and create positive, lasting change in your life and work. We meet once a week, alternating between 90-minute themed workshops and 60-minute one-to-one coaching sessions. The programme is designed to: - Put you back in the driving seat - Help you define what a balanced and energised life looks like for you - Get clear on what matters most and how to make life and work reflect that - Build a resilient, empowered mindset that supports you to move forward - Develop the self-belief and confidence to set boundaries and take action - Raise awareness of unhelpful patterns and how to shift them - Cultivate sustainable habits that support your wellbeing The structure blends deep personal exploration with coaching tools and behavioural experimentation to help you create change that actually sticks. Alongside weekly sessions, you’ll receive curated tools, exercises and online resources to support your learning between sessions. It’s a blend of insight and action—so you can breathe more deeply, grow more fully, and live more intentionally.

What happens in the free Deep Dive session? This is a 60–90 minute session where we explore where you’re at now, where you want to be, and what might be holding you back. You’ll leave with new insights and a clearer sense of how I can support you; whether through coaching, counselling, or a blend of both. There’s no pressure to commit.
-
Can I do coaching without the programme?Absolutely! I offer one-to-one coaching outside of the Breathe & Grow programme. These are flexible, goal-focused sessions designed to meet your needs and create lasting change, booked in blocks of 6 or more.

How does your one-to-one coaching work? The bespoke one-to-one coaching packages are designed to fit around you—your schedule, your goals, and the way you want to approach your journey. Sessions are 60 minutes and typically run fortnightly, though frequency is flexible and will be agreed together during your free deep-dive intake session. You can choose to commit to 3, 6, or 12 months of coaching, depending on where you're at and what you want to achieve. These packages are ideal if you already have some clarity around your goals and are ready to start living and working in a way that feels truly aligned. As with all my programmes, you’ll also get access to an online coaching platform with additional tools, resources, and optional exercises to experiment with between sessions—designed to help you integrate insights into real, lasting change.
-
How long will I need to work with you?The number of sessions you’ll need is completely individual—there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Some people gain what they need in six sessions and feel ready to move forward, while others find huge value in the structure, accountability, and deepened self-awareness that ongoing coaching provides, and choose to continue for longer. To create lasting change, I recommend committing to a minimum of three months of one-to-one coaching. These packages include regular 60-minute sessions, with flexibility around how often we meet—weekly, fortnightly, or even every three to four weeks. We'll agree on a rhythm that works for you during your intake session.
-
Is everything confidential?Yes. Whether we're doing counselling or coaching, your privacy and confidentiality are a top priority. I follow professional and ethical guidelines to ensure a safe, non-judgemental space.
-
What does the support inbetween sessions look like?As mentioned above, all coaching packages include support in between sessions - where you need it. You'll get access to a voice messaging service that I respond to at certain points in the week during usual business hours, as well as being able to contact via email. Whilst, I would love to be there with you all as much as possible, I also believe that you know what is best for you and deep down, you will know what to do, but I will be there if you need a quick check-in, or you're really stuck and need to talk it out. Counselling works a bit differently, and it is important for this to be boundaried, hence we stick to working together during our sessions only, and I won't be available in-between sessions. If you need any emergency help in-between, it is best for you to contact either a member of your support network, or a medical professional.
-
Do you work online or in person?I predominantly work online, however depending on your location, face-to-face sessions can be arranged. I also offer walking counselling and coaching sessions for those who would like to feel more grounded during their sessions! I am based in South Manchester, UK, and face-to-face would be in a public working space for coaching, or a private room for counselling. Please note: walking sessions are not available for the Breathe & Grow programme as it includes one-to-one workshops and specific workshop activities which will either need to be done online, or in person with some space to work.

Why choose me as your coach or counsellor? As you’ll see from My Story and throughout my work, I’ve been where you are. I spent years following a path that wasn’t truly mine: driven by what I thought I should want, shaped by external success and other people’s expectations. On the surface, everything looked fine. But underneath, I felt disconnected, stuck, and frustrated with myself for not living in a way that felt real or fulfilling. I know how it feels to have a strong sense that things aren’t quite right, but not know where to begin. To want more alignment and purpose, but second-guess your own instincts. To feel like others are making bold moves while you’re quietly questioning whether you can trust yourself to do the same. The truth is: you can. You already have the answers within you. My role is to help you clear the noise, reconnect with your own voice, and build the trust and momentum to move forward. Coaching (and counselling, when needed) gives you the tools, space, and support to understand what you really want, and the confidence to live it out in your own way. This work isn’t about changing who you are; it’s about understanding yourself more deeply, clearing out the unhelpful noise, and aligning your life with what truly matters to you. It’s a process of reconnecting with your values, building confidence in your decisions, and creating a life that reflects what you stand for. I'm a qualified coach and member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), as well as a qualified counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). That means our work together is grounded in both professional integrity and real-life experience, tailored to support you with both compassion and clarity.

How will I know we are the right fit? This is possibly one of the most important questions to answer - how will you know we will work well together and that I can get you to where you want to be? First and foremost, I offer free a deep dive session to anyone who is interested in taking the next step and is thinking about investing into themselves. This session is designed for you to get to know my style, what I'm about, but also for you to get a taster for what it will be like to work with me, as well as give you more clarity about whether counselling or coaching (or both!) would suit you best right now. It will also give you a bit of insight into your current challenges and what might be holding you back. If you're interested in continuing to work with me after this session, we can then take it from there, whether you choose counselling, coaching or to embark on the Breathe & Grow programme. If you're still a bit unsure, you can reach out to others that have worked with me, or join me on one of my free events on social media to get to know me a bit more.
